Mel at Melody’s Reading Corner tagged me for the 6 Word Memoir, but I’ve already done the 6 Word Memoir. However, since I can count the number of times I’ve been tagged on one hand (and probably don’t even need to include my thumb), I was not going to not do something. I was not. Did you follow that?
Soo…as it so happened, I’d run across a different type of six word memoir in the blogosphere. This one used your middle name. Since my middle name is six letters, I thought this was perfect. The first one only uses the letters in my middle name with one word, the second one uses as many words but they all have to start with the letter in my middle name. Huh? I don’t know if I even understand what I just said.
I present you with my abomination creation:
Living
In
Ninety
Limitless
Excellent
Years
Bet you can’t guess my middle name!
Okay, maybe that doesn’t make a lot of sense, but it’s extremely difficult to make up something that makes sense when your word choice is limited. Take pity on me.
Here’s the second one (each line stands alone):
Loves Lila like latest literature.
Impressively independent.
Never nearing newest newborn.
Likely losing luster.
Each effort exudes endless energy.
Yearning yummy young years you yielded.
Let me explain these. Lila is my papillon and the sweetest dog I’ve ever met. She’s a lover through and through. To say I love her as much as my books is saying a lot.
Impressively independent. I’ve always been very independent. Hmm. I guess that was kind of self-explanatory. Sorry, I don’t mean to insult your intelligence.
Never nearing newest newborn. I shy away from newborns with their wobbly head and delicate bodies. I’m getting better with newborns, but I was trying to roll with the alliteration.
Likely losing luster. Ahh, the joys of aging. Granted, I’m young, but I know it’s coming!
Each effort exudes endless energy. I really don’t have much energy. But many people would disagree, seeing as how I work two jobs. Perhaps that’s why I don’t have any energy? But this was speaking to being able to work two jobs for so long, not necessarily other things in life, like house cleaning.
Yearning yummy young years you yielded. This is speaking to people who waste their youth. I’m very well aware my youth is fleeing before my eyes!
So that’s it. That is what I have to offer. How did I do, Mel?
I challenge you to do the same! *pointing at you* I challenge you!
