I love this post and totally agree with pretty much everything said, especially the equal parts vanilla ice cream and chocolate topping. I want to try the ghiradelli sprinkles. We just bought an ice cream maker this summer and I am really into homemade ice cream right now. The store bought just isn’t the same. Great post and Great blog!

Wow, I have to go get a bowl of ice cream now. My current favorite is Fleur de Sel by Haagan Daz. It is a combo of sea salt, caramel and chocolate. I just went to make sure I spelled it correctly and my husband finished it! I hate fruit on my ice cream and agree on the equal parts chocolate to ice cream although I prefer dulce de leche caramel.

My husband manages a Dairy Queen, and plans to buy the franchise in the next couple of years – so I get a lot of ice cream at my house. My current fave is the July Blizzard of the Month, Thin Mint – yum. I don’t even really like Thin Mints by themselves, but mixed up in some DQ soft serve, they are heavenly.

I LOVE ice cream! My all-time favorite is mint chocolate chip from Baskin Robbins. I also love their jamoca almond fudge. But I just finished eating for lunch (yeah, I know), Ben & Jerry’s cinnamon buns ice cream. Wow! I think I’m in love.

I’m partial to chocolate with lots of stuff in it (like peanut butter cups, or fudge, or caramel, or all of the above). And don’t hate me, but I like my ice cream soft.

My favorites though…
-a Mexican Chocolate ice cream that a local ice cream shop made. It had cinnamon and orange flavors. Yum! Except they went out of business a long time ago.

-the combo of dark chocolate and tangerine gelato that I had in Florence last year. Hands down, the best…and we sampled plenty of gelato.

I’m hit or miss with ice cream, sometimes I adore it so much that I’d sell my kids for it, and others I would not dream of wanting it. I’m fickle, I suppose.

When I do eat it, I tend to like sorbet. Or a fatty chocolate malt. Yum.

right now my favorite is haagen dazs light pineapple coconut.

i also enjoy hd rum raisin

my favorite is coffee

my first job was in an ice cream parlor.

my fave way to eat is in the pint container.

i don’t like adding anything but occasionally choc syrup.
or vanilla ice cream on top of brownies or pie
