Mostly because I get weirded out by any one touching my eye - including me. I also don't like people looking into my eyes to examine me (I'm very cool with eye contact in general). I feel like they are stealing my soul or something. I would rather see the OB-GYN than the ophthalmologist any day of the week. Call me crazy. :) I am a glasses over contacts girl myself.
