I'm way behind on the series now because I stopped reading them when it started changing to a different focus. I have them, just haven't read them. I read the first 3 or so within a day because it was the first thing in years that was so fresh and new and totally grabbed my attention. Now paranormals are everywhere, and while I enjoy them a lot, it's not NEW to me. Same thing, done differently, you know? I have The Rest Falls Away, perhaps I should make an effort to get to it. I have mixed feelings about books written for a series. I like when books are written for a series and we know it upfront. It's known from the get go that the story will continue. I don't like when a book is successful and then the author decides to do a sequel. I sort of went off topic (it can happen) but just wanted to toss the series comment out there.
