Nor did I see most of the other twists throughout the story, so I felt like I wasn't paying close enough attention or something... Good to know it's not just me! I completely enjoyed this book as well, and I have to agree that sometimes it gets old in books when the main charater has some special knowledge that just "happens" to save the day! Just finished reading it today on my flight. I've already read one Deaver's book before, "The Broken Window" and they are both quite exciting. "Bodies" do seem a bit better for me, as the main plot is more down-to-earth and has nothing to do with hi-tech or surreal issues. One of the best twist of plot I've seen in a while, I highly recomend this book. Great book! Just finished reading it today on my flight.
