I've changed my book rating system. It used to be on a 1 to 100 scale, and now it's a scale of 1 to 5 stars.

We will always miss you:

deweys-readathonbutton

I know people have been waiting to hear about the read-a-thon, and after some work, the read-a-thon has it’s own site and a date for 2009! Mark your calendars for:

April 18, 2009

We wanted to let you know the site is up and running and plans are underway for (the newly renamed) Dewey’s 24-Hour Read-a-Thon. We can’t wait!

I may just participate in a peripheral way this time. I really wanted to do the readathon, but the concert band I am in plays at an adult band festival that day.

I have an exam that morning *weeps* so I’ll be starting the read-a-thon late, and my staying-up-all-hours power will be dubious. But I’ll be there.

I am not sure if I will be able to make this one or not, but I will be putting it on the callendar anyway. Maybe there are other things I can do to help? (cheerleader, giveaways, etc, just let me know!)

This is the first time I may actually be able to participate. My kids will all be visiting grandparents then. Yay!

Argh! I have been waiting for the read-a-thon and hoping to participate. But I am leaving for the London Book Fair on the 19th! It’s a overnight flight. I can’t be without sleep two night running or I will be worthless at the LBF. Poop. Maybe next time…
