It is an historical/mystery novel and has some of the most distinct and interesting characters I have ever come across (it also has a really unconventional romance in it). It is also damn funny at times. I hope you might check it out, because it is a great read, and if I can get just one more person to read it, I will be happy. Please enter me in this contest as well.
